Every now and then, I hear about something so fun and cool that I just can’t keep it to myself. This is one of those times!

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of interviewing a friend of mine, independent film writer/director Sean Morgan, about his upcoming movie, Altar Egos.

Synopsis: When a middle-aged pastor of a dying church breaks from tradition and changes his church’s Christmas pageant, the bitter choir director of forty years leads the seniors to leave the choir, confronts the church board and demands the pastor’s resignation. Given only two weeks to bridge this generation gap and make amends, the pastor recruits his teenage son, an actor and special effects makeup artist, to disguise themselves as old men, infiltrate the senior group and get them back to church; but when the pastor uncovers deeper wounds, he must put pride away and love the unlovable or risk the destruction of his family and church. It’s like Mrs. Doubtfire meets It’s a Wonderful Life, but George Bailey doesn’t wear women’s clothes.
