Emily E. Ryan is a Word Chaser. She first chases the Word of God and then chases just the right words while writing and speaking to encourage others to do the same.
As a minister’s wife and working mom, she has a passion for encouraging women into a deeper relationship with Christ in ways that are practical and realistic and with a style that embraces, rather than ignores, the plethora of responsibilities that most women juggle in their everyday lives.
She is the author of several books, including Who Has Your Heart? The Single Woman’s Pursuit of Godliness, and Guilt-Free Quiet Times: Exposing the Top Ten Myths about Your Time with God, and has been speaking and teaching at conferences, retreats and women’s events for over fifteen years.
She and her husband, Jason, live outside of Houston, Texas, and attend Sagemont Church where he serves as the Music and Communications Director. They have four amazing children and one not-so-amazing dog. For fun she enjoys reading, running, singing Broadway show tunes and riding her unicycle to embarrass her children.
Emily is represented by Cynthia Ruchti at Books & Such Literary Management.
