You may have heard that Dan Cathy, the president of Chick-fil-A, recently spoke out against gay marriage.

Some, like the mayor of Boston, slammed his comments and declared Chick-fil-A unwelcome in his venue. Others, like former presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee, have stood behind Mr. Cathy and even called for a national Chick-fil-A appreciation day.

Personally, I love Chick-fil-A! And one of the reasons I love it so much is because of the values behind it. One of my cousins works there, and he says it’s one of the best companies to work for. They don’t just preach faith and family, they live it out in their policies and in how they treat their customers and employees. I have been very impressed that its president, Mr. Cathy, is not afraid to stand by his values. Whether it’s the decision to close on Sundays or speak out against gay marriage, he doesn’t let his business drive his beliefs. Instead, his beliefs drive his business.

But I can’t watch Chick-fil-A in headlines across the news without thinking of these great videos by comedian, Tim Hawkins. He has many, many hilarious songs, but his odes to Chick-fil-A are some of my favorites.
