Tomorrow is the big day we’ve been waiting for for nine months – it’s birth day for our little boy! So I’m asking all of you amazing Glo Girls to pray for us at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning!
As you can see from the picture below, I’ve obviously been through this before. Four children. Four C-sections. Four times going through the anxiety of surgery.
So, because I’ve been through this three times already and know what’s coming tomorrow, I have to admit, it raises my anxiety a bit.
That being said, I started chatting with God about this several months ago, and He immediately gave me a verse that I’ve been clinging to ever since:
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isa. 41:10)
I know that God is in control. That He loves me. That He will protect me and my little boy. And that He, who is faithful, will prove faithful once again.
So, please pray that the surgery will go well and that God will guide the hands of my doctor and nurses. Pray for our son, that he will be born healthy and strong. Pray for me, that there will be no complications and that I will remember the sweet words of encouragement that God has written on my heart. Pray for my husband, Jason, and for our three other children, that they will enjoy the day and that it will truly be a celebration of life!

Praying for the doctors and nurses that will be with you during this time. That God will guide them. Praying for you, that you will remember how strong our God is and how much He loves and cares for you; and that he will protect you and bring you smiles during the c-section. Praying for your husband and kids that they will not get anxious or worried as you go through this procedure. That God will let them know and feel that you are in good hands and protected. i just read this on oct. 3 at 8:28am…God’s timing 🙂 praying for you, emily, and that sweet little one the Lord will bring into the world in just a few minutes!! by His grace, i pray all goes smoothly and as planned and that your family is richly blessed to soak in the grace that today holds for you all! looking forward to hearing how it goes and see pics of the sweetness the Lord has knit together!
